MCC Lord’s, London
Lord’s is the oldest continuously used cricket ground in the world and the home of the Marylebone Cricket Club, the body that writes the Laws of Cricket. CricketX ran sessions there with batters facing simulated bowling using a real cricket bat with the Meta Quest controller mounted in the handle, the same hardware sold on the CricketX VR cricket bats page.
The sessions covered what the simulator is useful for indoors when outdoor nets are not available, and how it sits alongside physical net practice rather than replacing it.
Professional players
Misbah-ul-Haq captained Pakistan in 56 Tests and later served as the national team’s head coach and chief selector. He batted in CricketX on camera and described how the simulator handles pace and shot selection.
Umaid Asif is a Pakistani first-class cricketer. His session focuses on reflexes and shot selection against varied simulated bowling.

What we claim, and what we do not
What the footage shows
That CricketX was used at Lord’s Cricket Ground, that professional cricketers have batted in it, and what they said about it on camera. Every video on this page is a real session, not a re-enactment.
What it does not show
These are filmed sessions, not a controlled study. They are not an endorsement contract, a sponsorship, or a commercial partnership, and they do not mean any institution recommends CricketX over other products. CricketX has not commissioned independent validation of its own app, and we will say so plainly until we have.
