Why a real bat matters for VR cricket training
When you hold a standard Quest controller and practise in VR, your grip is wrong. Your swing plane is wrong. The muscle memory you build is calibrated to a small handheld device — not a cricket bat. Nothing transfers to the crease.

How your VR cricket bat transfers to real cricket
The Quest controller is already a high-precision motion tracker. The only question is whether your hands are holding it in the right position. In a standard controller grip, they aren't — the tracking origin is in the wrong place relative to your swing. In a CricketX bat, it is exactly right.

No. CricketX bats are passive accessories — wood or 3D-printed frames with an integrated controller mount. All motion tracking is handled by the Meta Quest controller, which sits inside the mount. No charging, no Bluetooth, no batteries.
Which Meta Quest controllers are compatible with CricketX bats?
All CricketX bats are compatible with Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3s, and Quest Pro. The mount is designed around the Touch Plus controller (used on Quest 2, 3, and 3s). Quest Pro uses the Touch Pro controller, which fits the same mount.
How does the controller stay secure during a full cricket swing?
