Year-Round VR Cricket Training. Inside Your Academy.

Cricket stops for nothing when it lives inside a VR headset. CricketX gives academies, clubs and training centres a complete indoor VR cricket training solution — custom AI bowlers, 3D shot analytics, immersive replays and smart bat hardware. Your players get more volume, your coaches get harder data, and your academy keeps training through every rainy afternoon and dark winter evening.

Why VR Training Works

The same reasons it works for the world's best — and why academies at every level are adopting it.

Volume nobody else can match

A batter in a physical net faces 60–80 balls per hour. In CricketX, that number is unlimited — no bowler fatigue, no reset time, no wasted sessions waiting for a machine. Players can drill a single delivery type 200 times in the time it takes to set up one lane.

Data coaches can actually use

Every session generates 3D shot maps, bat-path traces, timing data, and pitch-zone hit rates. Coaches see exactly where the ball lands, where the bat goes, and where the player's shot selection breaks down — not impressions from the side of the net.

Training that never stops

Indoor cricket batting nets sit empty most of the year — too expensive, too weather-dependent, too limited by lane availability. VR sessions can run any time, any weather, with any number of players rotating through one or two headsets.

Methodology collaboration

Add decision training to the academy pathway.

CricketX is working with Andre Burger's Neuro Batting programme to connect controlled VR practice with perception, decision-making, execution, and pressure-focused coaching.

For academies, that means a repeatable training station can sit inside a broader coaching programme without replacing nets, technical work, or coach judgement. Approved sample sessions are coming soon to CricketX after testing and review.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many headsets does an academy need to get started?

A single Meta Quest headset is enough to get started. Most academies begin with two to four stations — one per batting lane — and scale up as demand grows. Each player who uses CricketX needs a team seat (which includes a CricketX Pro subscription) and a copy of the CricketX app on a Meta Quest.

Do players need any prior VR experience?

No. CricketX is designed to be picked up in minutes. The in-app calibration walks each player through setup, and most are facing their first delivery within five minutes of strapping in for the first time.

Can coaches set specific drills and then review the data?

Yes. CricketX Pro includes a coach view where you can configure custom delivery sets and drill scenarios, then review 3D shot maps, bat-path data, and session history for every player on your roster.

How does pricing work for a team?

It's per seat. Each team seat includes a full CricketX Pro subscription for one player, and the current monthly or yearly team rate is calculated in checkout. Players who don't already own CricketX on Meta Quest can add a game copy for $20 one-time. You buy as many seats as you need and add or remove players any time. Running a large programme? Book a demo and we can set up a custom volume deal.

Is CricketX suitable for players of all ages and skill levels?

Yes. Delivery speed, pitch conditions, and bowler difficulty are all configurable, so a junior development player and a first-team batter can train on the same system at the right intensity for each.

Do you offer on-site installation and training?

Yes — on-site installation, calibration, and a hands-on coaching workshop are available. Book a demo and we will scope your facility and put together a setup plan.
